As Manageress Hayley is likely to be your first point of contact with the salon. Hayley, a trained beautician,brings great experience from the beauty world and is always ready to offer assistance and advice to clients if requested. She places great emphasis on the importance of customer service and ensures the salon runs smoothly.
Adam has 12 years experience:he started his career as an apprentice at The Cutting Garden and has now rejoined us. We welcome him back and it’s great to see him sharing his extensive talents with our clients. He has furthered his career by qualifying on many courses including Hair Extensions, Kuene colour training in Amsterdam (Kuene’s Head Office) and Nano Keratin Treatments. Adam is a firm believer in the benefits of Olaplex hair treatments, he enjoys all aspects of hairdressing and he looks forward to helping clients, advising on colour, styles and treatments.
Alison is extremely energetic, she thinks and moves quickly and works efficiently to exacting standards. Alison has enormous experience having joined the Cutting Garden team in its early years. Cutting is her preferred area and she particularly understands the specialist needs of clients with naturally curly hair.
Alison works on Tuesdays, Thursdays and alternate Saturdays.
Amanda is a stylist with extensive experience and has been with The Cutting Garden for many years. She now works part time in the salon on Tuesdays and Thursdays. She remains a popular choice and anyone wishing to benefit from Amanda’s skills are advised to book early to avoid disappointment.
Debbie is a long-standing member of The Cutting Garden team and has been with the salon since its early years. Debbie has reduced her hours to part-time but still enjoys cutting and colouring. She also enjoys working with clients with naturally curly hair.
Donna has been in the hairdressing industry since 2001 and over this time has combined her knowledge and experience to become an extremely popular stylist. She is in great demand with clients who would especially like to make the most of her highlighting skills. Donna is a perfectionist and pays strict attention to detail making sure her work is up to her high standards. Donna has recently returned from maternity leave and is looking forward to welcoming her clients.
Hayley is a teacher in our very own training school. She has “grown up” with The Cutting Garden having started here as an apprentice 15yrs ago. Over the years she has become a highlighting expert and it is this wealth of colouring knowledge and experience that she is passing on to our next generation of young stylists.
Hayley started as a Saturday girl before she left school. She decided that she wanted a career in hairdressing and in 1998 embarked on an apprenticeship progressing on to be a qualified stylist. Hayley is not one to stand still and has undergone further professional training to become a colour educator by our colour house “Keune”, based in Holland.
Jemma has been with The Cutting Garden for some eight years. She enjoys ladies and gents hairdressing and derives enormous pleasure from the challenge of interpreting the customer’s wish list with superb style, cut and colour.
Jemma maintains a keen interest in the latest colour and cutting techniques and welcomes the opportunity to discuss these with new and established clients.
Jemma has been with The Cutting Garden since 2001 when she started her career. She is popular with both ladies and gentlemen alike and continues to keep up to date with today’s trends by taking every opportunity to attend the latest cutting, colouring and styling courses with the colour houses. Jemma enjoys consulting with clients to create the most suitable colour and style. Jemma has just returned from maternity leave, working part time at present and looking forward to welcoming her clients in to the salon.
A talented young lady who has attended a specialist course in gents hairdressing and is superb at creating modern styles for men. However, for the ladies, she also enjoys recreating celebrity styles, colour and blow-dry work. She has a real flair for hair-up styles for special occasions. She has also become an important member of our in-house training school, assisting in the training of our next generation of stylists. Jess has recently returned from maternity leave and at present is working alternate Fridays and Saturdays. She is looking forward to welcoming her existing and new clients.
Jess has recently completed her apprenticeship and is now a stylist. She was a prize winner at the 2015 Skills Group Hair Show and has developed a passion for hair-ups and produces amazing blow drys. Jess is looking to build her client list and to help the process the salon is offering some keen prices, so please contact The Cutting Garden for a free consultation with Jess and see what she can do for you.
Kirsty has been with us since 2007. She is an enthusiastic stylist and enjoys using her skills to cut both ladies and gents hair using all the latest techniques and styles. Kirsty is very quick to understand the client’s requiremenys and translate them into the desired style. She has also completed an extra course in gents barbering and is extremely talented in this area of hairdressing. Talk to Kirsty about your ideas and let her bring them to reality. Kirsty is currently on maternity leave but will be returning part time in March.
Leah joined The Cutting Garden from school, completing her apprenticeship and night school training to attain levels two and three. Leah has quickly built an enthusiastic following and is keen to discuss with clients and advise on colour changes, colour and style. Leah is also our hair extensions specialist and she has some excellent reviews on Facebook. Contact the salon for a free consultation. Leah works on Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday and Saturday.
Linda is our founder stylist and has seen the salon change and develop through the years.She has constantly updated her knowledge and has maintained a keen interest in hairdressing developments and techniques with particular emphasis on colour and the use of the Keune So-pure range of ammonia free colour products.. Linda’s great experience and ability is widely respected and she has many long term and loyal clients. Linda works on Tuesday, Thursday, Friday and alternate Saturdays.
Lisa has been with the salon for twelve years. Her speciality is hair-up and any client looking for a hairdresser for that special occasion, especially wedding hair, should look no further. Besides her love of hair-up, Lisa also has great interest in styling, employing cuts and colour to the client’s best advantage. Lisa is a much valued trainer in our night school, passing on her experience to younger team members.
An extremely well-qualified young lady, with twelve years’ experience in hairdressing. Stacey has completed the Toni and Guy barbering course in London and has also done the Tigi ladies cutting course. Stacey is particularly attentive to clients’ requests and also has flair with colour. She welcomes the chance to talk over potential changes of style and colour with clients.
Neve joined us after leaving school and after a brief period as a trainee has been selected as an apprentice. She is enjoying salon life and loves looking after the clients.
Lucy has also been through a period as a trainee and is now an apprentice. She has a bubbly personality, a great smile and enormous enthusiasm.
Maia is our most recent recruit and has joined our apprentice team. She has a lovely smile and enjoys looking after our clients.
Sophie has joined us as a Saturday Girl while continuing with her full time education. She is a valuable member of our team and enjoys looking after our clients.
